Nationals Final Results

Congratulations to all 10 of the Storm teams for making 6A this year! This is not an easy task and in fact there are many programs that will have just 1 team make 6A. Every single one of our teams managed to make 6A and in fact 8 of our 10 teams reached the final 4! This is an amazing feat so congratulation to the Storm teams for putting together another great run at nationals. Nationals: Day 4

Today had some ups and some downs after starting out 21-1 for the week the Storm went 5-5 and now is 26-7. Below are todays results and a list of upcoming games. We have 3 teams that made the final four, 2 teams that are in the national championship game, & 3 teams playing for 3rd place. Also here is a link to a great article about Nate Santleman (star PG for the boys varsity) http://newsok.com/article/3215650/

G18 advanced to the final four after their 39-31 win against KC East Lions. The girls trailed 9-3 in the first 4 minutes of the game and managed to fight back and tie the game up 9-9 by the end of the first and then in the 2nd quarter took the lead and managed to hold on in a HUGE victory that has sent the Storm Varsity girls to the national semi-final for the first time in over 4 years! They will be playing the semi-finals vs. #1 overall seed and defending national champs at 4:30 P.M. @ John Marshall HS (Gym #16) vs. THESA Riders

B18 advanced to the final four after their 47-34 win against St. Johns Michigan. The boys jumped out to a 10-3 lead but St. Johns fought back and took the 12-10 lead later in the quarter. The boys showed a lot of gut and managed to sustain a lead despite several runs from St. Johns. This is the boys first national semi-final appearance in two year. This also set up a rematch of a earlier season loss to the Cincinnati Landmark Eagles which will be at 7:30 P.M. @ John Marshall HS (Gym #16) vs. Landmark Eagles

B10 advanced to the finals with a 29-23 against HCYA warriors and will be playing at 11:00 A.M. @ Lighthouse (Gym #2) vs. Illinois Crusaders

G10 advanced the finals with a 23-11 win against SATCH Mavs (Houston) and will be playing at 10:00 A.M. @ Lighthouse (Gym #4) vs. HCYA Warriors

B14 advanced the final four after their 42-30 win against HCYA their semi finals will be at 1:40 P.M. @ Performance Sports Center (Gym #8) vs. Memphis Nighthawks

B16 will be playing for 3rd place after their 66-65 loss to the FEAST Patriots. Feast hit a buzzer beater to win the game. The third place game will be at 4:00 P.M. @ St. Elijah Church (Gym #13) vs. Memphis Nighthawks

G16 will be playing for 7th place after their 28-33 loss to the Springfield Knight and play at 1:40 P.M. @ FBC Moore (Gym #11) vs. Lakeshore Thunder

G14 will be playing in the consolation bracket after their loss 38-31 against Memphis Nighthawks 9:00 A.M. @ Transformations (Gym #5) vs. Memphis Eagles

B12 will be playing for third place after their loss to the Dallas Thunder at 3:00 P.M. @ Lighthouse (Gym #3) vs. HCYA Warriors

G12 will be playing for third place after a loss to the Memphis Nighthawks 34-25 at 12:00 P.M. @ Lighthouse (Gym #1) vs. Memphis Eagles

Yesterday all teams were in action except the B & G 18 and all Storm teams won except the G-16. Here is a list of what is going on this afternoon. Because of the time of this post I will not list the games that are going on right now. However tomorrow I will not got to sleep until I post all results and schedules for tomorrow.

B-16 will be playing in semi-finals at St. Elijah @ 2:50 vs. FEAST Patriots (San Antonio)

Nationals: Day 2

Boys 18 & under defeated Dallas Thunder 56-42 and have advanced to the #3 seed in 6A and will be playing St Johns, MI on Thursday (more details later) The final score was much closer then the actual game at halftime the Storm led 36-18 and led by 20+ most of the 3rd quarter however Dallas made a run late in the 3rd that carried on to the 4th and stayed within 15 the rest of the game. However in the 2nd half Dallas never cut the lead to single digits and the starters were able to rest in the last 3 minutes of the 4th quarter.
